They have a few albums are most popular in the salsa scene. The singers are from different african countries, the musicians are salsa-carribean and the songs are often old african hits.
Have a look at Ricardo Lemvo. He lives in the USA but he is from Congo and sometimes you hear it on his albums.
But if not, there are many other possibilties for the track you are searching for. Ask your DJ.
